On a day where there were few points scored all round, Watford’s Ighalo and Everton’s Lukaku continued their good form with goals.
Manchester United lost 2-1 to Bournemouth with their only goal coming from midfielder Felaini. Bournemouth are up to 14th now after back to back wins against the “big boys” whilst Crystal Palace and Watford are continuing their excellent recent form sitting 6th and 7th respectively. A Man City win over manager-less Swansea saw them jump back to the top of the table.
On Sunday, Spurs lose at home to a slowly reviving Newcastle (no goals again from Kane), Liverpool are held 2-2 at home to WBA and Aresnal win at Villa to go top of the EPL – Giroud netting again.
