Jermaine Defoe is looking to be a bargain buy, both in the league and now the cup with his 3 goals last night. Talking of hat-tricks though, ladies and gentleman I give you Joe Dodoo of Leicester. Straight in to the league at a mere £7.5m after his super debut last night.

Other players to watch out for after last night, Newcastle’s Florian Thauvin who scored one and created three goals on his full debut against Northampton. One off cup game vs lower opposition or a sign of things to come?

One more game in the cup tonight sees Everton taking on Barnsley.
